Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum/阿德勒天文宇航馆

Time: July 18, 2005
Place: Museum Campus, Chicago, IL

Adler Planetarium is the first planetarium in America. The exhibits didn't attract me much, while the Sky Theater was of a bit fun. The star sky above Chicago that night was shown on the vault screen, and an astronomer told you how to find out the Big Dipper, the North Star and constellations like the Great Bear. Another highlight is Galileo's Café, which provides an unforgettable view of Chicago skyline.

I'm interested in this picture not only because of being proud of my ancestors' accomplishment, but also because it's a place I did visit with Piggy:) See below, no Photoshop, guaranteed!

BTW, Gao Cheng, "告城" in Chinese, is 12km (7.5 mi) southeast to Dengfeng, which is famous for Shaolin Temple. This tower, built in Yuan Dynasty, is the earlist that is well preserved till now.
